The Lumberton Local Office has a new look. If you have called the office lately, you noticed that we answered as Employment Security/JobLink. Along with new desks, chairs, computers & an overall new face lift, we are enthusiastic about this new role & the changes that are taking place.

Congratulations & sad good-byes to Pauline Evers, Interviewer I, who will retire on August 31, 1997. A retirement dinner will be given in her honor on August 22. She retires with over 20 years of service.

Congratulations are also in order for Brandon Warriax, son of Harry Warriax,Interviewer I . Brandon was drafted by the Texas Rangers in June.

A fond farewell to Michael Warren, Appeals Referee, who will be leaving the agency on July 31, 1997 to accept a position with the Attorney General�s Office.

Hello from the Lumberton ES/JobLink Office.

The office celebrated Employee Appreciation Day on Monday, September 22, by overindulging in an abundance of snacks.

Please join us in welcoming Shawn Perry, Appeals Referee, and Jack Singletary, Employment Interviewer I, to our office.

As a result of our recent renovations, we are now enjoying our new PCs & LAN system. As noteworthy information develops, I will let you know.
